Happy Monday! I’m back in action after a much needed social media break. Originally I was going to document my travels, but instead I decided to take a step back and actually enjoy the one honeymoon I was ever going to have. It was truly relaxing to just shut my brain off, especially after all the wedding planning came to a close. I’ve quickly discovered that trying to settle back into reality is really hard, but I just want to apologize in advance for all the travel photos coming your way 😂 #StacieHaTravels
Regrann from @nicholas.rocco - Regrann from @infunctional_training_therapie - Repost from @optimize.physiotherapy using @RepostRegramApp - ☑️ Humans are incredible throwers.
☑️ Throwing is unique to humans - no other species even comes close to being able to throw objects hard/fast like we can.
☑️ The shoulder/arm is adapted to throw...it is the ultimate demonstration of shoulder function.
👣 Human’s ability to throw is a big reason why we are here today. A body that adapted to throw was a HUGE evolutionary advantage when it comes to hunting and survival. Throwing allowed humans to hunt and fend off other animals from a distance, which no other species could (using spears, rocks, clubs etc.)
➡️ The human shoulder/arm has the ability to act like a whip or catapult. Throwing requires the use of our anatomy in a unique way. The shoulder/arm work along with the torso (core), hips, and legs to produce an ELASTIC effect.
↪️ By using our myofascial slings, we can store and release this elastic energy during a throw. Watch any high level pitcher or quarterback and you will see the arm and body literally act like a whip to generate a huge amount of force and elastic energy to throw the ball.
➡️ Throwing mechanics can be practiced and improved over time. This requires:
🔑 Good shoulder/upper body mobility (healthy and well moving joints)
🔑 A good connection from the upper to the lower body via the core and myofascial sling systems.
🔑 Developing and honing technique and mechanics over time.
✅ We are made to throw. Get your shoulders moving well so that you can demonstrate this uniquely human movement pattern.

Another visit to Nasrut Restaurant.. this time in Istinye Park, Istanbul. High quality steak and beef.
Let's get real. It's 1:53 am and I'm posting on here literally just to show authenticity and maybe help out another student. Tonight, I had a butt load of homework to do y'all. I have this morphology class that whoops my butt more than the gym ever will, and I legit got to spend 6 and a half hours doing my homework tonight. And I did other readings, had the pleasure of doing some business work (entrepreneur lifeeee) and got to book my trip to Toronto this weekend.
Now notice I used the word got instead of had to. Guys, people would move mountains to be in my position. Some people would love to do morphology all night long (maybe?? Idk it's kinda hard) if only they had been given the chance. So every night as a student of real school, entepreneur school and healthy living school I brain dump the things that I want to do tomorrow in my journal and write down 5 things I'm grateful for today. Not pictured is my gratitude list so here it is:
💕 My growing sense of purpose and self in this world.
💕 The people I get to coach in healthy living.
💕 My boyfriend's wild jokes and his obsession with Eminem that makes me laugh and learn more about pop culture. 💕 My boo Keirstan (who I got to see today!), my boo Danica (her too!) and my boo Julia (every day😄) who always encourage me to live my best life NOW.
💕 White cheddar rice cakes bc duh. .
Anyways y'all I'm off to bed, but this is just my little thought thing that I do to fall asleep while ofc blasting Arbonne's lavender essential oil. Love you all!
So I received my University results and this is the first time in a very long time, that I felt hard work paying off.
I say this because I used to hate academics, I thought it was boring and I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. And I guess thats okay, we don’t have to always have it figured out. But by just switching my perspective and the way I view academics, changed everything for me. 🙏🏽
Instead of saying University sucks and is a waste of money, I reminded myself of how grateful I am to have this opportunity. I only realised this academic year, that if I was gonna do something in my life… then I wanna fucking excel in it, give it everything I’ve got and know I put my 110% in it. ⚡️
Like I can’t be putting all my energy and focus into trading because ‘I like it more’, I think theres a special kind of greatness and discipline when you can do something that you don’t really want to do as much, and turn it into an opportunity to better yourself. And thats exactly what I did with academics. 💁🏽♀️
So if you’re complaining about studies then you either move on now or change that attitude and fucking crush it. Same with your job, either do what you wanna do now, or stick with it and make it your bitch until the time is right.
With that change in attitude, it becomes much more enjoyable (and bearable). I turned my shitty modules (solids mechanics 🙄) into a challenge and refused to be defeated.
I hope those who find themselves still complaining about life, their job, school, fitness, trading, relationship etc, can use this as a sign to rethink the way they’re looking at life. Because that was all it took for me. #daytrade#profit#fxtrader#trader#kuwait#iqoption#forextrade#hardworking#onlineshopping#marker#mar#ottawa#ontario#makemoneyonline#italy#millionaire#cash#forexlifestyle#luxury#forexlife#forexsignalservice#trading#investment#stockmarket#binaryoptionstrading#luxurylifestyle#binaryoptionsstrategy#traderlife#bitcoins#startup
[A quote from a dope human]
. "The time of getting fame for your name on it's own is over. .
Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous.
Fame is a bi-product of doing something else. .
You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have shit"
Continuing east on #DalyAvenue, this is impressive #Italianate stone #mansion is Winterholme, at 409 & 311 Daly on the northeast corner of #ChapelStreet. Called ‘Chapel Court’ when it was completed in #1865, it’s been divided into apartments since #1921. The architect was H.H. Horsey, who also designed the second Ottawa City Hall and (at the west end of Daly), the #CarletonCountyJail; Horsey’s own House is west on Daly.
“Built just two years before Canada's Confederation and once the estate of Sir Sandford Fleming, #Winterholme today offers sixteen exceptional apartments within the walls of a former manor house.
“Winterholme was once home to Sir Sandford Fleming, the famed inventor of uniform standard time zones. After the departure of the Flemings, Winterholme was converted to aparments in the 1920s with the entrance moved to the south side of the structure.”
“Horsey's 'Chapel Court' (1864) at Daly and Chapel was designed for George-Edouard Desbarats, the Queen's Printer. Despite threats, after the assassination of his friend Thomas Darcy McGee Desbarats placed a plaque on his Sparks Street printing works which was promptly burned by alleged Fenians. The Desbarats sold their house to Sanford Fleming for $10,000 and left town. Fleming re-named it 'Winterholme' and although much altered by later additions it's still there.”
Why am I at maximum cute at stupid times of night??

Throwback to the Busker Festival when I brought the kid to watch all things flipping magical, but really, secretly loved it more than he did.
I'm always impressed with the people who come out to perform and receive no payment to do so, because that's either passion, partial insanity or both.
I learned how to juggle when I was a child, driving my mother crazy with all the ball dropping she'd hear from downstairs. I learned real quick how to catch those balls because I didn't want to feel the wrath of her frustration.
Here you'll see me showing a terrible example of a simple cascade and one quick shower movement at the end.
Maybe another day, I'll show you my flair skills 😉
Saw these searchlights coming home. Made me think about the One above and how we must continually seek Him.
Search for YHWH and his strength. Seek his presence constantly. — Psalm 105:4
