  • How about some mommy cub love! I’ve been away in Montebello on a blogging assignment for Outaouais Tourism. I’ve picked 5 things to do, taste and see adding a great resort and a Parks Canada historical site. I’ll post the blog up next week but Parc Omega was one of my stop and if you know me well you know I’m in my element. Thanks to @outaouais for this incredible time in Montebello Quebec. #outaouaisfun #explorecanada #quebecoriginal #parcomega

  • So I went to Parc Omega with my friends this weekend as it was equal parts incredible to experience and interesting to think about for two reasons. First, is it ethical to keep all these large mammals in relatively small enclosed areas, and to let people drive through those areas to interact with them? Second, how do I present the photos I took on this trip? It would be pretty disingenuous to showcase them next to my work with wild animals without a disclaimer that I did not in fact get within 10 feet of an arctic wolf of my own volition. I feel comfortable with these photos because you can see the car, and so there’s no false pretence that they’re wild animals, but the photos I took on my DSLR don’t clearly show that. Interested to hear peoples’ thoughts. P.S. @kaylacbholmes was there.
