1️⃣ Supervised Learning: Supervised Learning algorithms are used when you have labelled data, wherein an input and it's desired output is given. The learning algorithm receives a set of inputs with corresponding correct outputs, and then the algorithm learns by comparing its actual output with correct outputs to find error. It modifies the model accordingly. Using this model and experience it predicts an output for an unknown input. This type of learning can be used in weather predictions, stock market analysis, sales analysis, etc.
2️⃣ Unsupervised Learning: Here, the data provided does not have any labels. The goal is to explore the data and find some structure/pattern within it. The system is not told the right answer. A great example of unsupervised learning is item recommendations on various online shopping sites.
3️⃣ Reinforcement Learning: This type of learning has three primary components: the agent(decision maker), the environment (everything agent interacts with) and actions(what agents can do). The objective is to maximum the reward through trial and error of actions taken. It then learns which actions yield the best reward in a particular case. This type of learning is mostly used in robotics, gaming and navigation.
