Remember that you are a work in progress, which means that you get to your goals little by little, not all at once. The more consistent you are the better the results will be. Get your body moving at least 30 minutes a day, eat nutritious food, eat your veggies and drink a lot of water. Your body will really thank you for it.

I knew nothing about nutrition growing up. We sadly raise our kids in a culture where eating tons of excess sugar, carbs & fat is “normal.” Meanwhile, our society is running rampant with heart disease & more. & Somehow, people have yet to associate this crisis with what they are putting in their mouths. Hell, people still refuse to accept the fact that you can’t transform your body off of a measly 4-10 hours at the gym each week. What about the other 160+ hours? Nutrition IS the catalyst.
We must understand that our bodies were built to thrive off nature. Back in the day, our ancestors and a lot of indigenous cultures grew up on traditional food & took care of the land that rendered it. Subsequently, they lived a life of extraordinary health and beauty from their strong statures to their aligned teeth to their sharp facial structures. Case in point, our environment & personal choices (diet) can alter our gene expression (epigenetics). I was dealt an endomorph body type. At my foundation I don’t look anything like the pic above, but I chose to sculpt a leaner physique through my diet.
Devil's advocate ... lets dissect the "why care? bad food hasn't killed me yet " type of mentality. At this moment, maybe not. But your insides are already crying out for help & your future self will suffer the consequences. The problem is that It’s easy for us to be content with living an unhealthy lifestyle when we don't know what a healthy one feels like. Do it to feel good, look good, but most importantly do it for your health & better yet, the health of your offspring. Our diets are literally killing us but we can break this cycle . It starts with you! I'm determined to show you all that eating right doesn't have to be difficult, tasteless or boring. Meal ideas will be up on my story shortly

Many women miss out on the benefits of strength training out of fear of developing bulging muscles. This is a massive misconception because high levels of estrogen make it very difficult for women to become overly muscular. When women lift weights, the changes to their muscles are generally related to tone, strength, and endurance rather than size. The resulting look is firm, feminine toning, not bulky masculine muscles, so before you say “no thanks” to weights, take some time to challenge your preconceptions and learn about the importance of strength training for women. When you strength train, you get more calorie-torching bang for your buck. Working with weights keeps your body working long after you’ve stopped lifting. A clip from back day! I’ve never recorded myself in the gym before so this was new to me and not the best angle at all but whatevs 🤷🏼♀️😂 I did these v-bar seated cable rows at 35lbs for 4 sets of 12... make sure you squeeze those lats when you pull back!

Had a bomb.com back workout yesterday and finished with some sprints which took everything out of me. I haven’t ran in so long so it was a major struggle getting through them😫
I’m hitting chest later with some tricep movements thrown in there and then, sadly, finishing with some sprints again😢
