Hey guys, just a heads up, if you take care of your body, it’ll take care of you 🤷🏼♀️
When I spoke out about my head injuries and difficulties the outpour of support I got from everyone in all corners of the globe was amazing. It still hasn’t been easy, things were good and then they got bad. I was missing days of work because i couldn’t get out of bed, i was losing grip and losing hope that i’d even finish my masters degree, i was overly stressed and feeling terrible and masking it with too much alcohol and late nights out. and then i had a really bad night. and i broke down- and the next day i woke up and knew i had to change something.
a good friend of mine @wildchildinthetreet1d had been trying to get me to try the @arbonne#30daychallenge but I was like ‘nah i know nutrition i can balance things i can do it on my own it’s fine.’ i was strict paleo (including no alcohol or caffeine) for 9 months before when my head got really bad, and that was the best i’ve ever felt, so i knew that was the direction i wanted to go. id done it before i could do it again. i bucked up and bought the 30 day starter pack and a shit ton of veggies at the grocery store and committed.
and as weird as this is to say.... this has been the easiest change of diet i’ve ever made. maybe because i’ve been there before? maybe because things were so bad i knew i didn’t have a choice? but i’m also still convinced a huge portion of it has to do with the products. i’m sleeping better, i have a shit ton more energy, my brain is clear, my anxiety and stress have dropped. it’s insane. It’s been 5 years since i’ve been able to say ‘i feel great’ and my friends and dad can testify, i will call them just to yell “I FEEL F**KIN GREAT!” (it’s slightly ridiculous and super annoying and i apologize to everyone) but DUDE
sorry for the long annoying post but if anyone is at all interested please go check out arbonne through the link in my bio!! and please reach out i will answer any questions you have
Food and nutrition is so powerful. Especially if you have issues with head injuries. fun fact “our brains, which account for only 2 percent of our body weight, consume about 20% of our calorie intake.”
