I’m starting a new account to document my strength training journey. It’s become a huge part of my fitness, and even though it plays a role in running I’ve felt this page was straying from its roots 🤷♀️. But here this wonderful Sunday, I’m sharing a few of the stretches I’ve been doing in my recovery (and will continue doing daily to keep me 🏃♀️ running). The 2nd and 3rd stretches are my favorite and are always in the cooldown portion in a yoga class I’ve taken many times and are so great for stretching the inner and outer leg. Thankful for picking those up there! Each stretch is done on each side and I’ve been holding for 45 seconds and using my @garminfitness Fenix watches Strength app to time me through the stretch, then give me time (I left it set for 5 seconds) to get into position for next stretch interval! It’s amazing something as simple as a timer could change my recovery game so much! 💗 ⌚️So effective! Do you use this app on your Garmin too? I highly recommend it if it’s compatible (it comes pre-installed on many, including mine). #garmincrew
