I read a quote recently that really sparked a fire in my soul, and I wanted to share it with you guys! ~initiate~

This quote speaks to me on a different level you guys! I chose to change my life a long time ago, but this quote doesn’t seem less important now. Because every single day you have to remind yourself of these things. You can’t get comfy in the day to day bullshit. You have to continuously push yourself so far out of your comfort zone. You have to keep changing and keep chasing the life you’ve always wanted. It’s easy to slip back into your old ways of just living a mundane life. But that’s not why we are here. We were placed so gently on this beautiful earth for a reason. So go out there and find it. Find your purpose and live your best life. You deserve it. You don’t wanna look back on it and wish you did all of these things. Stop overthinking it. Whatever it is. Go for it. If you fail. Get back up again. Dust yourself off and go for it again. Life it’s easy, but it’s a journey. And it’s fucking beautiful!
Outside it's cold, wet, rainy and everything that's bad about an early winter. But I don't care! I have work to do, goals to hit, achievements to make! Today I have hit another marker on my weightloss journey. The last 3 weeks have been tough with little to no change in the numbers on the scale. I was just over 250 and couldn't seem to break through that barrier. No more!!! Good bye 250's! Good bye to being over the weight limit for safety. If there's one thing I've tried to improve over the past year I would heavily say I focus on these two factors.
This isn't something I used to focus on as much at all in my earlier days of training, and had I done so, I feel I'd be much further down the line physique wise than I currently am today. However, we learn as we grow!
Towards the latter end of the set you can see how the intensity increases just via my body language. At this stage you know you're taking the set to where it needs to go to produce results. Those last few reps are where we grow, where we progress, everything leading up to it is just the build up phase.
However, although this is great & intensity matters, it must be taken into account that execution is likely going to drop. So with that in mind you need to ensure you focus on both variables massively. And it's a hard thing to master, so don't expect to be great at it as soon as you jump into a machine or onto some free-weights.
I've worked hard AF to get to the stage I'm at with my effort and execution and I'm still a million miles away from where I'd like to be taking it. I think at the end of this set I still could have finished better!
My point is, if you watch this video, understand that swinging those weights around & not focusing on effort or execution is only going to get you so far! If you want to progress, you need to work hard AF both physically and mentally every time.

and only 3 days til weigh in😆🤞🏻 I find this half of the week easy to stay 100% on plan as I know weighing is coming up (and I want to feel good for the weekend😏)
Saturday weigh ins are a love hate relationship, as my weekends normally consist of Saturday nights out, Sunday’s hungover and Monday is just Monday.... by Tuesday I’m always 100% back on plan but them first 3 days are a struggle😩😂 although I’m managing to fight through, really hoping for -2.5lb this week to have lost a stone in just 4 WEEKS !!💪🏻💞
One thing I hear a lot is how HARD it is to be good with your eating all the time. I want you to know I get it ✋! I am one of those people who found all the healthy recipes and meal prepped until the cows came home. I was really good at it...until I wasn’t good at it at all (typically within a couple weeks).
So here is my point today...I know we all WANT to be able to achieve our healthy weight on our own through food. We should be able to, right? But then why haven’t you? (I asked myself this a lot!) The answer is...it is HARD! We have gotten to where we are by years of bad choices...it is HARD to just turn those impulses off. .
Optavia is teaching me how much fuel my body really needs every day and it is NOT HARD because I get to eat things like this (my version of a Reese’s). I get to have what feels like dessert.
I keep saying it but I will say it again... weight loss does NOT have to be HARD!
Maybe you have some really good days and then “fall off the wagon” because it is HARD to keep it up?
Maybe you are great all day but then find yourself in the kitchen cupboard all night?
Maybe you feel like you are eating all the right things but the scale just won’t budge?
The struggle is real...but you don’t need to struggle!!! I can help you get off this hamster wheel for good. .

lunch time! chicken and chorizo-style sausage paella
this is a slimming world microwave meal and it’s completely free (which is great for me as I try to keep my syns to satisfy my sweet tooth🍬)
it comes with a recipe to make this yourself at home (second pic) but as I go to work so early these are so simple to just grab and take with me with no preparation or thought needed
I have found in the past when trying other diets that I tend to give up when things are too complicated and I have to make everything from scratch, the easier the better for me 😊 (lazy I know but if it helps me keep on plan then why not !!)
